Dry conditions and downed timber from past storms have elevated wildfire risk, and response teams are engaging in initial containment efforts at this time. The U.S. Forest Service is monitoring the situation hourly and will send additional personnel as needed. Sec. Rollins plans to visit the affected area on Friday, conditions permitting.
